Our products are made of Extra Super High Impact materials which make them safe to use in harsh environments. The products are manufactured in accordance with IS: 9537 Part 3,for PVC conduits, IS: 3419 for PVC fittings.
Electrical Characteristics
Electrical Strength C1-12.1.1 of IS: 9537 (Part-III) -1983
The sample shall with stand an A.C. voltage of 2000 volts having a frequency of 50 Hz for a period of 15 minutes after conditioning in a water Bath at 27 ± 5 Deg C for a period of 24 Hours without break down.

Insulation Resistance C1-12.1.2 of IS: 9537 (Part-III) -1983
The sample shall with stand a D.C. Voltage of 500 Volts in water bath kept At a temp. of 60 ± 2 Deg C for a period of 2 hours minimum insulation resistance shall be 100 M ohm.
Mechanical Characteristics
Impact Test CI-9.4 of IS: 9537 (Part-III) -1983
The samples shall not show any sign of cracks visible to the naked eye on impact.

Compression Test CI-9.3 of IS: 9537 (Part-III) -1983
The sample shall be tested at a temp. of 27 ± 2 Dec C for at least 10 hours. On Load:- The difference between the initial diameter of flattened pipe shall not exceed 25% of out side diameter measured before compression. The difference between the initial diameter and the diameter of the flattened sample measured one minute after removal of compression force shall not Exceed 10% of the outside diameter measured before the test.

Resistance to Burning CI-11 of IS: 9537 (Part-III) -1983
If the sample burns, it shall do so slowly and the flame shall not spread appreciably any flame shall die out in less than 30 seconds after removal of the burner.
